Objectives

To develop the provision of high quality services and sale of goods in conformity with fair competition and professional industry standards

To develop and implement unified industry standards and requirements for mechanical vehicle service and repair

To achieve harmonisation of statistical data on vehicle sales in Latvia in accordance with international vehicle trade data accounting standards and practice

In cooperation with the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and other state and non-governmental institutions, to promote traffic safety

To educate the population in Latvia on issues regarding the acquisition, operation, repair of mechanical vehicles and consumer rights protection
