The association "Latvian Authorised Automobile Dealers Association" (LAADA) was established in 1994 by 12 Latvian new car dealer companies. On 7 January, 2013 the LAADA name was changed to "Automotive Association", becoming the only professional organisation in the Latvian automotive industry to bring together producers of motor vehicles, motor vehicle component and/or part producers and/or sellers, importers, authorised car dealers, authorised and independent motor vehicle repair and maintenance service providers.
Currently, the "Automotive Association" joins 31 members, representing 44 car and motorcycle brand names, who combined, sell over 90% of new vehicles in the Latvian market, provide more than 2500 work places, pay tens of millions of euros in taxes to the state budget every year. The "Automotive Association" has been a member of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) since 2003.
Mission of AA
In cooperation with the competent state authorities, to initiate and lobby the development of regulatory enactments for the automobile sales and repair industry promoting the interests of companies in the sector and the clients thereof.
